By looking at the national flag of a country, one can get an idea about the history and traditions of that country. We Bangladeshis also have a national flag. Our national flag is also earned with much blood and sacrifice. The length and width ratio of the flag is 10:6. The color of our national flag is dark green with a red circle in the middle. The green background of our national flag signifies our breathtaking natural beauty. And the red color of the sun is a sign of fresh blood on the chest of the martyrs.
The national flag is hoisted on any important national day, including Independence Day, and Victory Day, as ordered by the government. The national flag is hoisted on government buildings and educational institutions every working day. We every Bangladeshi love our national flag very much. Our national flag inspires us to always sacrifice our lives for the greater good of the state. It is constantly reminiscent of independent states. We are proud of it.

Every independent nation in the world has its own national flag. Bangladesh is an independent country. As an independent nation, we also have a national flag. We won our beloved national flag in 1971 through a bloody war. So the national flag is our pride. The length and width ratio of the national flag of Bangladesh is 10:6. Our national flag is rectangular in shape and has a red round circle in the middle. The radius of the circular circle is one-fifth of the length of the flag.
The two colors used in the national flag have significance. The color green represents the youthful vitality of the people and the green fields and forests of Bangladesh. The red circle, on the other hand, represents a rising sun containing the new hopes and aspirations of a newly formed nation. Besides, the red color used in the circle symbolizes the red blood of the brave martyrs. It reminds the history of the independence of Bangladesh. Many freedom fighters of this country sacrificed their lives for the freedom of the country in the war. Bangladesh became independent on December 16, 1971, in exchange for the red blood of their chests. The national flag is hoisted in all government offices and institutions of Bangladesh. Besides, all the educational institutions hoisted the national flag in foreign missions. The flag is flown at half-mast on national days of mourning. Our national flag inspires us with patriotism and inspires us to always sacrifice our lives for the greater good of the state. The national flag is our pride.
