A Rainy Day Paragraph For Class 6, 7, 8 (PSC & JSC)

A rainy day is a day when it rains throughout the day. The sky is covered with dark clouds. Everyone has to sit at home. People can not go out without umbrellas. There is water on the road. The village roads have become muddy and slippery. Due to this, no vehicles are able to move on the road. Ponds, rivers, and canals are filled with water. It brings suffering to the students and office-going people. Most students do not go to school on rainy days. As a result, there are no classes in the school. So, it becomes a happy day for children. It reminds our childhood. A rainy day is welcome to nature. It makes plants grow, flowers bloom, and nature looks fresh. A rainy day creates a mixed feelings in people’s minds. This day has a special significance for every person. People eat special dishes on rainy days. Children play indoor games making paper boats. Rainy days are a curse for poor people. They cannot go out of the house to earn a living. After all, rainy days bring us both joy and pain.

A rainy day is a day when it rains heavily. On rainy days the sky becomes cloudy. The sun is not visible at all. Flashes of lightning and rumbles of thunder are often heard in the sky. Birds can hardly be seen flying. Cattle stand quietly in their sheds. People cannot go out easily on such days. They have to sit idle in the house. Roads become almost muddy and slippery. No one usually wants to come out without obligation. Rich people stay at home and eat different kinds of delicious foods. But the poor suffer greatly. They cannot go out for livelihood. In fact, the poor lead a very miserable life during rainy days. This day brings great joy to the school-going students. Because classes are not held on this day. Some people pass the time by gossiping, playing indoor games, and sleeping. However, rainwater makes everything neat and clean. After the rain, nature wears a fresh look. So, a rainy day is both beautiful and inconvenient.

A rainy day is full of rain. The sky is covered with black clouds on a rainy day. The sun is hardly seen. It occurs during the rainy season. None can go out without an umbrella. Village roads become slippery on rainy day. Water stands here and there on rainy day. Sometimes people slip and fall on the muddy road. It is a day of great suffering to the workers and day laborers. They are unable to go out to work due to excessive rain. Students also have to suffer on such days. They cannot go to schools and colleges. Common people feel confined indoors as gloomy and dull. Children cannot go to play in the field. Cattle also suffer a lot on this day as they stand on the seed without eating.

The rich people enjoy a rainy day. They eat special kinds of food. But the poor suffer a lot in rainy days. They can not go out for work. So, they can not earn their livelihood. On the contrary, the touch of rain on the heart of the hot thirsty earth evokes a thrilling feeling. The leaves look bright green, and the rainbow in the sky adds to the beauty of a rainy day. After all rainy days gives us both joy and sorrow.
