The IELTS Speaking Test is divided into three sections: part 1, part 2, and part 3. In IELTS speaking part 1 questions and answers, the examiner will introduce himself/herself and then ask about your identity.

They will next ask you simple questions about your background, home, work, education, family, friends, interests, and hobbies, among other things. When you talk during the test, your answers should sound natural.

Q 1: Do you have a large or small family?

= I live in a small family with my parents and a younger brother. My father is a teacher, and my mother is a housewife. My brother is presently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in marketing.

Q 2: Do you spend much time with your family?

= Yes, I enjoy spending time with my family. My parents, younger sister, and brother are all very close to me. On weekends, we usually go on short trips. I enjoy playing with my sister and brother on occasion. On a regular day, I spend 4-5 hours with my family members.

Q 3: Which member of your family is you closest to?

= My mother is the closest person in my life. She is my inspiration and helps me get over all of my difficulties. My mother has had the most significant and positive impact on my life. She has always kept me on the correct track throughout my life. My mother is a very special person to me because of her appearance, personality, and cooking abilities.

Q 4: Is family important in your country?

= This is an excellent question. People in my country believe that family comes first and they prioritize their family over anything else. They will do anything for the family, and I am happy that family ties are strong in my country.

Q 5: How many friends do you have?

= I don’t have many, but I do have a few close friends. I believe that having a few faithful friends is preferable to having a large number of friends. You know, a loyal buddy can help you enjoy happy moments and give support through difficult times. Friends decrease feelings of loneliness by providing you with the company you desire.

Q 6: How often do you go out with your friends?

= I try to go out with my friends at least twice a week. I enjoy spending my weekends with them and we sometimes go to other places. I don’t always hang out with all my friends. I usually hang out with two or three close friends approximately 2-3 times per month.

= Abrar is my best friend in school. He was one of the top students in the class who sympathized with me. He helped me with my studies, taught me how to solve math problems practically, and was the only person who didn’t make fun of me when others did because of my low grades. He advised me to be patient and to be strong.

= Well, I like to spend time with my family. This is because we can form stronger bonds with our families. For example, we can go on vacation together with our family. Additionally, we can do things at home like cook together, hang out, and more.

Q 9: Which is more important to you, friends or family?

= My family is more important to me than my friends. A family is a place where you can find everything. Family members will try to assist you appropriately, both in good and bad times. It is the most crucial characteristic of a family. Family members will never leave you, but friends are the absolute opposite. When there are no rewards for helping you, your friends will disappear! So, my family is my primary priority.

= Dhaka is my hometown. It is the capital of Bangladesh. Dhaka is at the heart of Bangladesh. It’s the most populous city in the country as well as the most densely populated city in the world. It has a long history and numerous tourist attractions, such as historic mosques and monuments, that attract a large number of visitors.

Q 2: What is your hometown like?

= My hometown is Delhi. This city is well-known for its important marketplaces, including Connaught Place, Sarojini Nagar, Palika Bazar, and Sadar Market, which provide a broad range of items at affordable prices. Delhi is recognized for its variety, which is an asset to India. It is a popular tourist site in India. I had the opportunity to leave India ten years ago. I am currently residing in Australia.

= I like my hometown for multiple reasons. First and foremost, the locals are extremely welcoming to tourists. As a result, it is a caring and interesting city. Second, it offers various things for visitors to enjoy, such as amusement parks and museums. It attracts me because of the weather. There is also a high level of production. It is pretty peaceful, and foreigners may come here and have a great time.

= I live in Paris, the capital city of France. It’s famous for its landmarks, such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and the Louvre. It’s also well-known for its food, of course!

= Definitely! I’m proud to say that our government has worked hard to improve public transit for us. Trains, buses, ferries, rapid transit, and other modes of transportation are available. Our transportation system is well-organized, and the schedule is also strictly followed.

= I love eating a lot. Pizza is one of my favorite foods since it tastes and smells delicious. It is an Italian-style dish. Tomatoes, cheese, and several other ingredients are used to make it. We occasionally order pizza from a nearby restaurant.

Q 2. Do you like cooking?

= Yes, I enjoy cooking a lot! I started cooking when I was eight years old. Sometimes, I enjoy making delicious meals for my family, especially for my children before they leave for school.

= Sometimes, I enjoy making a special dish for visiting relatives or friends, but everyday cooking is a bit boring. It’s something that needs to be done, but it’s not really fun.

Q 3. Do you always prefer the same foods?

= Not at all. When the weather is hot and I want to eat something light, for example, a salad is my first choice. When it rains, I enjoy foods that keep me warm, such as fried rice or chicken noodles. I enjoy trying new foods, so I usually try a different menu every day.

= I don’t like to eat the same food throughout the year because I like to eat new foods with the changing seasons and weather.

= Well, I like all foods, especially traditional foods. But I don’t like to eat fast food because it can cause weight gain.

= I don’t mind eating any food that has been correctly prepared with normal spices, but I avoid eating anything that is really hot after the first bite.

= The food in my country is very tasty and spicy. My nation has a variety of food options. There are several options, and I’ve tried them all. Rice is a common dish with lentils, stews, and spicy curries.

= No, I eat different things regularly, but they are not always healthy. I actually enjoy fast food like pizza and burgers. Additionally, I love fried food, so I wouldn’t consider myself food conscious. But, I make sure to drink enough water to keep my body hydrated.

= Yes, I am a health-conscious woman. Therefore, I always try to consume nutritious foods such as fruits and vegetables, and I also set up a balanced diet plan that I follow daily.

= This year, I started focusing on my diet. I used to eat carelessly, but now I focus on healthy food choices. Fruit is a necessity in all my meals.

Q 7. What do you think of fast food?

= Fast food is bad for one’s health, yet I like its taste. It does not contain any healthy foods, such as fruits and vegetables. Moreover, it contains preservatives, which can be toxic to the body if consumed regularly. I enjoy fast food, but I only eat it when I’m desperate for food.

= Fast food is quite popular in my country. These are popular in shopping malls and urban areas. I do not believe that fast food is very harmful. When you eat fast food every day, these foods become harmful. For instance, when we consume it only two or three times a week, there are no concerns. Maybe I’m wrong, but that’s how I think.

= People in my country eat a lot of fast food. Most people eat fast food even though they know it is harmful to their health. But my family avoids eating it because we know it is bad for our health. I’ve been taught that fast food is very harmful to us. They have the potential to lead to cancer and heart problems.
